Music Therapy Groups
Supportive music therapy experiences designed for small groups of adults.
Group music therapy sessions bring individuals together in a supportive environment where participants can connect, engage, and benefit from shared musical experiences. These sessions are designed for adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), dementia, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and those recovering from a stroke. Led by a board-certified music therapist, group activities encourage cognitive stimulation, communication, and emotional expression.
Working in a group setting can also help reduce feelings of isolation while creating opportunities for meaningful social interaction. Sessions may include guided listening, rhythm-based activities, singing, and memory-focused exercises, all tailored to the abilities and needs of the participants. The goal is to foster engagement, improve quality of life, and build a sense of connection through music.
